Agapanthus praecox subsp. orientalis 'Zambezi'

At Gardeners Delight we are very excited to be exhibiting Agapanthus 'Zambezi', shortlisted
for RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year 2025, on our display at RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
This is a unique Agapanthus. 'Zambezi' has broad dark green leaves, streaked with creamy-yellow
variegation and bordered by a broad, golden-yellow margin. Long lasting, violet flowers are
produced on tall stems and are borne above the foliage. 'Zambezi' is eye catching and makes a
bold statement in any garden.
Agapanthus ‘Zambezi’ is an excellent container plant and is the
perfect border plant for the perennial garden.
Exposure: Full sun to semi-shade
Dimensions: 40 x 40cm
Hardiness: Hardy to -6°
Breeder: Keith Kirstem
UK Breeders Agent: Pinnacle Plants International Ltd
Introduced at RHS Chelsea Flower Shower 2025 by Gardeners Delight Nursery.
